Product Overview
Our double wire spring hose clamp, also known as spring hose clip, is a reusable, fast-installing hose retaining fastener. Made of spring steel wire, it delivers consistent spring tension to secure hoses tightly onto pipe nipples, preventing leakage, slipping or loosening under vibration and pressure fluctuations.
Applications
This spring hose clamp is widely used for flexible hoses in many industries:
- Automotive & motorcycle: cooling water hoses, fuel hoses, vacuum lines, brake fluid hoses
- Home appliances: water heaters, washing machines, coffee machines and fluid pipeline connections
- Garden & irrigation: water pump hoses, irrigation tubing
- Machinery & equipment: pneumatic lines, low-pressure oil and water pipelines
- Marine, RV and small engine fuel & coolant hose assemblies
It works perfectly for rubber, silicone and plastic flexible hoses under low to medium pressure.
How to Select the Right Size
- Measure the outer diameter of the hose when it is fully fitted on the barb/pipe nipple (not the bare hose OD).
- Choose a clamp whose nominal diameter matches this fitted outer diameter.
- For silicone or soft rubber hoses: pick a slightly smaller size for stronger clamping force.
- Note: This clamp is designed for low/medium pressure. Do not use it for high-pressure hydraulic systems.
Tip: When installing, use pliers to squeeze the two handle tabs to open the clamp, slip it over the hose and pipe, then release. It can be removed and reused many times.
